Ivanov Basso
Ivanov Basso has a bachelor degree in Music – Instrument Guitar from Federal University of Santa Maria (1992). He is a specialist of Music Therapy from Federal University of Pelotas and he is a Master of Health and Behaviour from Catholic University of Pelotas. He was a professor at UFPel, working on the following subjects: arrangements for guitar DUOS, TRIOS, and QUARTETS, arrangements for Voice and Piano, music for guitar solo, guitar groups, guitar and other instruments.

Grupo Camerístico de Violões
A trio of guitar players organized by Daniel Medeiros, Fábio Dalla Costa, and Ivanov Basso.
It developed activities from 2000 to 2007, giving concerts in many Brazilian cities. The trio’s priority was the work with original compositions and arrangements. In general, they had 62 shows and, in 2006, the trio received the prize FUNARTE – MinC in the project “Concertos Didáticos nas Escolas Públicas” (Pedagogical Concerts in Public Schools), with a tour in six cities of Rio Grande do Sul. The project was supported by Petrobras funds from Lei Rouanet. During the trio’s period, many compositions and arrangements were produced for guitar trios.
Duo Flute & Guitar
Duo formed by the flutist Raul Costa d’Ávila and the guitarist Ivanov Basso. During the years of the project, the DUO gave many concerts in different Brazilian cities, with special dedication to musicology, developing a repertoire based on Polcas, Modinhas, Lundus, Choros, and own compositions.
